Ms. Scoggins- I used to live in Utah so for the song challenge today I chose the folk song, "Rocky Mountain." I learned this song when I lived there. Whenever I hear it, I think of my adventures in the west!

Ms. Holbrook-Day 20 of the of the 30 Day Song Challenge asks us to listen to a song that reminds you of a place you’ve been. I grew up in Texas, lived there for almost 20 years and love to go back to visit my homeland. I listened to Lyle Lovett and his Large Band performing That’s Right, You’re not From Texas. https://youtu.be/30nHX4ifn6o

    Ms. Scoggins teaches general music at Roswell North Elementary.  She is also the director for the RNE Fourth and Fifth Grade Chorus. She strives to develop in each student what she has, a love of music and music learning.  Her personal music experience includes performing in choral, opera, musical theater, stage, sacred and recital settings, in addition to producing, directing and coaching vocal and dramatic works.

    She loves to travel, sing, act, read, cook, laugh, and learn about wondrous and beautiful things in the world.
