I am a firm believer in setting expectations. My experience is that by setting expectations, I am creating an environment in which every student who tries can succeed. Here's how each one can:
- Students will master skills through folk songs, singing games and performance opportunities.
- Students will learn what it takes to be a good musician.
- Students will participate in activities which foster music appreciation, performance capability, music reading, singing, dancing and playing instruments so that each person can happily be engaged in music later in life.
- Students will sing, play, dance, explore, create, and experience. (We will laugh and play along the way!)
I look forward to forming bonds with students, parents and community members through enriching musical experiences inside and outside the classroom.
All my best to you!
