Day 10 of the 30 Day Song Challenge asks us to listen to a song that we never get tired of. For me, this would have to be Walking in Memphis by Marc Cohn. I think it’s one of the best songs ever written because to me it shares through song how powerful people can connect with one another through music. Plus, it reminds me of the part of the country where I spent many summers visiting family, especially the images in the video. https://youtu.be/PgRafRp-P-o ~Ms. Holbrook
Do something fun for spring break! Come up with a list of songs for a road trip that you love to listen to over and over. Listen to the songs and think about where you would like to go. Maybe your family could help you make it more magical. Here are some ideas: make a car out of a cardboard box, make food from another region or country, draw pictures from your ideal vacation, let your imagination take you where you want to go. Miss you! ~Ms. Scoggins
